Hello, My Name is Lisa Anderson, and my mission is to instill a love for learning in my students. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I graduated from MSU in Mankato with a 4 degree in Elementary Education. I was a teacher at Kids X-Cel Center in New Ulm for 8 years before I took the job as the preschool teacher here at St. John’s Grandkids in November of 2016. I set individual goals for my students to get them ready for kindergarten, and love to see the progress they make. A little more about me, I am married and have 2 beautiful children. I love to sip tea while reading any book written by Nora Roberts. Most of all, I love taking walks with my family.
Hello! My name is Jeanne Grabow. I am originally from Washington State, I have 2 children and 8 grandchildren. I have lived around the Springfield area for the last 13 years. I love going to plays up in the Twin Cities once a year with my 2 oldest granddaughters. Most of all I love spending time with family and entertaining them. I grew up in a small town called Othello and graduated from high school there went to college for Health Care Administration. I worked for 20 years as an in-home health assistant, taking care of the elderly then ended up finding my passion in daycare. Before St. John’s I worked at Stay and Play Daycare in New Ulm as a lead Teacher for 3 years. I am excited about teaching children about their world and how and why things work the way they do. I am looking forward to helping them expand their minds from learning their ABC’s to possibly algebra (although I am not very good at). My Favorite things to do in my free include spending endless time with my family, my dog Bella, embroider on very snowy days, and baking. I am most excited about the intergenerational part of St. John’s; I LOVE that I will get to work with children as well as the elderly. I can’t wait to see them both brighten up each other’s days!

Hi,I am Emma Pingeon. I am a senior at Springfield High School this year and will be graduating in May of 2023. In school, I am involved in Choir, Band, Student Council, and Yearbook Committee. Outside of school, I dance for Just For Kix and this will also be my second year as an assistant coach. Growing up, I took a huge role in my life as always making sure my sisters were cared for when my parents separated. I was in 2nd grade, learning how to go back and forth from houses, and making sure my sisters and I had what we needed. My childhood upbringing has always made me want to become a teacher. Now that I am a senior it is crazy to think that I still have the same dreams as I did in my childhood. After High School, I plan to attend a 4-year college and earn a degree in Elementary Education and Youth Ministry. I have a passion for children, learning, and Jesus. I have decided to put that all together to be able to teach younger children in school and about God. I am the middle child of 6 kids. I have 1 brother and 4 sisters. I am going to be an aunt at the end of October to my oldest sister’s son! We are so excited to have a little boy in our family. Some of my favorite things to do are going shopping, organizing, writing in my planner, journaling, spending time with my sisters, and dancing, of course! I am so excited to be apart of this community to help educate all of the children, and make sure they know that they are loved, cared for, and worthy!
