St. John’s Circle of Care is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Our shift schedules vary by department to best care for our residents, assisted living residents and our daycare center’s children. St. John’s has competitive wages and benefits including PTO for full time employees (30+ hours/week), sick pay for all positions and an onsite daycare center that staff can have their children in while working during the day. Business Office

Health Information Specialist

The right individual will be responsible for coordinating health information management services, including organizing, overseeing, and protecting health information data of our residents. This position is a part-time position, daytime hours, Monday through Friday, approximately 54 hours per pay period. This position does have the potential of going to full-time hours in the future!

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Monitors health information systems and sets the healthcare system’s standard for data quality and ethical practice.
  • Maintains and oversees health information management policies and procedures regarding all aspects of health information management.
  • Will act as the HIPAA Privacy Officer.
  • Assists in resident admission processes and insurance authorizations.
  • Performs ICD-10 coding.
  • Assists the Business office with financial functions within the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned to assist in business and clinical operations of our campus.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Health Information Management or related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in ICD-10 Coding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to use computer programs effectively.

 

RN/LPN Positions

NEW INCREASED STARTING WAGES!

FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT RN/LPN CHARGE NURSE – $5000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS

  • Shift is 12 hours, 5:00 pm – 5:00 am, 5-6 shifts per pay period, with potential to pick up more shifts, if desired.
  • Every third weekend and rotating holiday schedule.
  • $5.00/hour shift differential.

FULL-TIME EVENING RN/LPN CHARGE NURSE – $3000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS

  • Shift is 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, 64-80 hours per pay period.
  • Added $2.00 shift differential starting at 5:00 pm.
  • Every other weekend and holiday.

Casual RN/LPN Charge Nurse

  • Casual position is required to work a minimum of one weekend shift per month at the request of St John Lutheran Home to assist in meeting staffing needs.
CNA Positions

Full-Time Day Shift CNA -$2500.00 Sign-On Bonus

  • Shift is 5:00 am – 5:00 pm; 84 hours/7 shifts per pay period.
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday.

Full-Time Day Shift CNA -$2000.00 Sign-On Bonus

  • Shift is 5:00 am – 1:30 pm, 64 hours per pay period.
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday.
  • Potential to pick up more hours, if desired.

Full-Time Night TMA\CNA – $3000.00 Sign-On Bonus

  • 12-hour shift (5:00 pm – 5:00 am), 7 shifts per two-week pay period
  • Hours are shift differential eligible.
  • Every other weekend and holiday.

Part-Time TMA\CNA

Dietary Department

FULL-TIME DIETARY DIRECTOR

St John’s Circle of Care is seeking a Dietary Director to join our Leadership Team.  The Director will be responsible for the resident dining experience at St John Lutheran Home.

Primary Duties

  • Oversees Dietary Department and ensures department is meeting the highest standard attainable in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Directs and oversees all resident nutritional needs, planning and programs.
  • Administers personnel functions of the Dietary Department such as hiring, ensuring thorough orientation, scheduling and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Plans resident menus in conjunction with Dietitian Consultant.
  • Ensures Dietary Department is clean, safe and orderly.
  • Other duties as needed to effectively manage the Dietary Department

Qualifications:

  • Must be CDM, CFPP or obtain certification within one year of employment, or have a nutrition-related Bachelor’s Degree, or qualified dietician.
  • Must have current Serve Safe Certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Experience with food preparation in a senior care setting preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members.
  • Promote teamwork.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer system, including email use.

Lead Teacher

FULL-TIME LEAD TEACHER

This position will primarily be working in our Infant Room with children from ages from 6 weeks to 15 months.

Job Summary:

  • Primary hours are dyatime, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Interacts and co-plays with children.
  • Ensure the safety and health of children.
  • Assist in maintaining all logs, such as accident/incident, illness records, etc.
  • Builds positive relationships with the children, families, coworkers and resident of St John’s Circle of Care campus.
  • Maintains a positive environment and happiness through the day using positive approaches in the Infant Room.

Job Requirements:

  • Must pass a MN Department of Human Services background screening including fingerprints.
